How long has Battle Back Beads been around?

Battle Back Beads began on 5/16/20

How does it work?

1. Email battlebackbeads@gmail.com  with the subject “signing up” requesting to become a member of Battle Back Beads OR sign up by clicking the message button in the bottom right hand corner of our website and providing your name and email.
2. Keep track of all the work done towards fighting OCD/BFRBs/Depression that week
3. Fill out the Google form sent to your email every week to request your beads

           4. Wait for your beads to arrive!

           5. Repeat steps 2-4 weekly

With the first beads, you will also receive a length of cord that is 2 ft long for the beads to go on. If one length becomes full, you can request a new length of cord with your next order of beads.

If you are participating in both our OCD/BFRB and Depression programs, you may also request a separate strand of string for each program to keep your bead separate. 

Can I participate in both programs at once?

Yes! Since OCD is common with so many other mental illnesses, we welcome you to join both programs at once. 

If participating in both programs, do I need to fill out two Google forms each week?

No. If participating in both programs, we would ask that you combine your numbers for each bead for both OCD/BFRBs and Depression and use that number on the form.

How do you know what beads to send?

We operate on an honor system and send you the beads you request. Every Saturday we will send you a Google Form to fill out with what beads you need for the past week.

Can I choose what I want the colors to represent?

Unfortunately, we cannot let individuals choose to change what each color means for themselves. We ask that you please stick to the lists on our "How it works" page.

Who can participate in Battle Back Beads?

Anyone with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) and/or Depression is welcome to participate. 

What age do i have to be to participate?

We welcome mental health warriors of all ages to sign up to receive our Battle Back Beads. 

How much does it cost to participate?

Battle Back Beads is completely free to participate in. If you would like to contribute to our cause, we welcome donations of money, stamps, envelopes, and beads.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we can only send beads within the United States at this time. 

Do you give out the addresses you collect to anyone else?

Here at Battle Back Beads, we promise to guard your personal information and will never give it out to anyone outside of Battle Back Beads without your express permission.
